A note from the Architect

I’m truly glad you’re here.

         This newsletter is a glimpse into our world – the introduction, design philosophy, and inspiration that shape our work:

Kishya Architecture Studio began as a quiet idea — a sketch on a page, a thought about how space could feel rather than just how it could look. I started this studio with the belief that architecture should do more than serve function; it should tell a story, evoke emotion, and connect people to their surroundings in meaningful ways.

         Whenever I look at a house or building – be it big or small – the entrance gives a sense of warm homely welcome, not all entrance feels the same way. This feeling has stayed with me — the realization that design lives in those small, fleeting interactions between light, material, and human experience. It’s that sense of poetry in space that continues to guide everything we do at Kishya.

         Every project we take on begins with listening — to the site, the client, and the spirit of the place. We design with intention, balancing form and feeling, structure and soul. Our goal is simple: to create spaces that feel deeply human — places you don’t just inhabit, but truly experience.

         Kishya has started its journey with a single interior project at the end of 2023 with a hope to design a space that resonates with our client working on every tiny detail to bring an idea to life. Since then, I have come a long way. I work on limited projects to justify each project with a unique approach. My clients have been very patient throughout the process which was a key milestone to achieve the success of each project.

         Kishya has now added a new designer to the team and we plan to expand a little and be available to take up a new project in the future. We have also launched our website and we plan to update it on regular basis and maintain our social presence on Instagram and Facebook.
